Raising Jairus' Daughter

Mark 5:21-43 - Jairus, a synagogue leader, came to Jesus in great distress because his daughter was dying. He begged Jesus to come and lay His hands on her, so that she would be healed and live. On the way, a woman with bleeding touched Jesus' cloak and was healed, but during this time, Jairus' daughter passed away.

Upon hearing the news, Jesus said to Jairus, **"Don’t be afraid; just believe."** He went to Jairus’ house, and when He arrived, He found people mourning the girl’s death. Jesus told them she was only sleeping. He then took her hand, and said, **"Little girl, I say to you, get up!"** Immediately, she stood up and began walking around, to the amazement of all present.

This miracle reveals Jesus' authority over death and His compassion for those who are grieving. It also shows the power of faith in trusting Jesus, even in the most desperate of circumstances.
