Feeding the 4,000

Matthew 15:32-39 – Jesus saw a large crowd that had been following Him for three days. They had no food, and He had compassion on them. With just seven loaves of bread and a few small fish, Jesus blessed the food and miraculously fed 4,000 men, plus women and children.

What Makes This Miracle Special?

Unlike the feeding of the 5,000, this miracle happened in a Gentile region, showing that Jesus’ compassion and power extended to all people, not just the Jews.

Lessons from This Miracle

  • Jesus provides abundantly for those who follow Him.
  • He cares not only for spiritual needs but also for physical needs.
  • Faith in Jesus means trusting Him to provide, even when resources seem insufficient.
